1850 View Crest Drive, Reno
Tucked behind towering sequoias in one of Reno's most coveted locations, 1850 View Crest Drive is a private hideaway with timeless midcentury chic, resort-like amenities, and undeniable flair. Set on 2.5 private acres, the fully updated estate is blanketed with lush green lawns, mature groves, and a tranquil pond, creating a setting that feels remarkably private and increasingly rare. A charming courtyard entrance with stone fountain sets the tone for a property defined by enduring character and style. Inside the 2-bedroom main residence, midcentury modern architecture is elevated through a thoughtful renovation, with chinchilla slab marble floors, curated designer lighting, custom millwork, marble bathrooms, and oversized picture windows that bathe the home in natural light and frame park-like views. The grounds function as a private, fully realized resort, designed to provide effortless flow for both large-scale entertaining and quiet reflection. The outdoor program includes a saltwater swimming pool, private tennis/pickleball court, dedicated sauna, and a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen sheltered by an architectural pergola. Next to the pond, an open-air fire pit provides an intimate gathering space for stargazing. A separate one-bedroom guest house is equipped with solar panels and offers a private retreat for family, staff, or extended visitors. The sprawling landscape is sustained by water rights from the Steamboat Ditch, ensuring plentiful water supply throughout the season. With complete privacy and an extensive collection of outdoor features, 1850 View Crest Drive offers the rare opportunity to own a Reno estate with distinctive character, resort-like amenities, and a setting that only becomes more special with time.
